Sinopsis
São Paulo today. Brazil is in full economic upswing. This is a story of friendship and delusion between three young friends in a big city. Their life is marked by an ordinary routine where nothing much happens except the alienation impregnated by the consumer society and the lack of perspectives. An urgent film representing the historical moment of a generation.
Es la historia de una familia numerosa formada por un matrimonio (Alberto Closas, aparejador pluriempleado y Amparo Soler Leal), quince hijos de todas las edades, un abuelo (José Isbert), un padrino de bautizo de 5 de los hijos (José Luis López Vázquez) y entre todos un pequeño mundo, lleno de estímulos y significaciones. The last remaining production of Le Prince's LPCC Type-16 (16-lens camera) is part of a gelatine film shot in 32 images/second, and pictures a man walking around a corner. Le Prince, who was in Leeds (UK) at that time, sent these images to his wife in New York City in a letter dated 18 August 1887.
In this color-tinted short, we first see a close-up of a red rose, perfectly formed. Then, we see the rose held by a young woman who is wearing a bright yellow dress. She's the second beauty. Behind her is a slow dissolve to the US flag, tinted in red, white, and blue, blowing in the wind. Behind the flag is a star-lit sky.
