Sinopsis
Un detective de raíces indígenas regresa al interior de su país para investigar el asesinato de una joven aborígen, cuyo cuerpo se encontró debajo de la ruta de los camiones, que se encuentra a las afueras del pueblo.
Este thriller, “Mystery road”, nos contará la historia de un detective (Aaron Pedersen) de orígenes indígenas que regresa a su hogar en el desierto australiano para resolver el asesinato de una adolescente. Hugo Weaving encarna a un policía cuyos móviles resultan un tanto cuestionables.
Encerrado por un delito menor, el joven JR (Brenton Thwaites) aprende rápidamente las dureza de la vida en prisión, y que para sobrevivir dentro hay que buscar protección. Pronto se encontrará bajo la mirada del criminal más famoso de Australia, Brendan Lynch (Ewan McGregor), pero ese amparo tiene un precio. Lynch y su equipo tienen planes para su joven protegido: tras salir JR en libertad, deberá ayudar a Lynch con su plan de fuga.
Private Eye Bernard Bingbang is hired by old lady Agatha Bungworthy to find her runaway niece Cynthia, heir to the family fortune, before that fortune goes to nasty Uncle Philip. Bingbang’s only clue to the niece’s identity: she has a birthmark that looks like a butterfly right above her left nipple. Naturally, in true Nudie-Cutie fashion, “The Case of the Hidden Butterfly Birthmark” means our hero will have to see numerous naked breasts in order to find the missing heiress.
