Sinopsis
La Por cuenta la historia de Manuel, un chico de dieciséis años que nunca habla con nadie de lo que pasa en su familia. Nunca habla de que, por las mañanas, cuando su padre se levanta, él ya está despierto. Nunca habla de los morados que su madre tiene en diferentes partes del cuerpo. Ni tampoco habla del miedo que él, su madre y su hermana pequeña sienten cuando están en casa con su padre. Por eso a Manuel le gusta ir al instituto, porque mientras está allí no está en casa. Hoy el profesor les explica qué es la herencia genética y Manuel no puede dejar de pensar en eso durante todo el día: ¿Seré como mi padre? Entonces Manuel toma una decisión: buscar trabajo para sacar del infierno en el que viven a su madre y a su hermana, aunque eso le suponga separarse de su novia, dejar el baloncesto y apuntarse al bachillerato nocturno. Es la decisión más importante que ha tomado nunca. Es una decisión adulta.
