Tres perdedores, un cínico y un par de frikis, uno de los cuales está obsesionado con los viajes en el tiempo, terminan la jornada en sus respectivos trabajos y van a un bar a charlar. Cuando este último va a pedir unas cervezas, en la barra se encuentra con una atractiva mujer (Anna Faris) que le dice que viene del futuro a arreglar una brecha temporal que está por ahí en alguna parte...
