Luego de que Duvalier, un jefe del crimen organizado -enemistado con Alex Cardo-, ordene asesinar a Sun maestro y mentor de este ultimo, Alex decidira tomar venganza, y para lograrlo llega -por intermedio de un viejo amigo- al maestro espiritual Makato "El Juez"; él le enseñara a canalizar plenamente la energia de su mente y cuerpo con el fin de que Alex quede apto para regresar al Kumite y vencer al temible luchador de Duvalier llamado "La Bestia".
