Cellar (2016)

While searching his parents’ house for a missing toy, a young boy insists on the existence of a cellar which may not exist. The surreal and grotesque paintings of Aleksandra Waliszewska suggest a child’s memory and imagination in recalling an unsettling story of familial conflict.
