Documental que resume los diez años de Fugazi como banda, combinando tomas en Super 8, 16 mm o vídeo. Por «Instrument» se pasearán imágenes de directo (algunas excepcionales como las del concierto anti-apartheid, a favor de los sin techo, e incluso pequeños conciertos en penitenciarías o en una carpa de baloncesto –con un Picciotto cantando colgado de la cesta-), imágenes de decenas de seguidores de la banda, bromas varias, entrevistas desquiciadas para alumnos en prácticas, ensayos o un surtido de imágenes que reflejan lo anodino y absurdo de los tiempos muertos por los que se ve obligada a pasar cualquier banda de rock.
