Howard Ratner es el propietario de una joyería ubicada en el barrio de los diamantes de la ciudad de Nueva York que vende en exclusiva a ricos y famosos. Un día se produce un importante robo que le obliga a tener que afrontar una deuda económica que no está preparado para pagar.

Un camino vertiginoso, infinito y único por todos los reveses nocturnos. Sexo, drogas y bebidas se alternan entre encuentro y encuentro, creando un continuado sin tapujos, frente a una cámara tan curiosa como audaz, que se atreve a recorrerlo todo.

A Swedish village in the 18th Century: the seemingly idyll is disturbed by a group of soldiers they appear to beware their heavily injured comrade from death. Despite of first hospitality the arrivals notice that the villagers are not only devout, it seems that they hide a dark secret.
