A search for the origin of the Sinterklaas celebration. More than 30 years of research was spent on this release, in which, during a period of the last 20 years, Saint Nicholas and Midwinter rites have been filmed in almost all European countries, as well as outside. For two years it has been perfected and assembled. From over a hundred hours of material, a film was created that sheds a completely different light on the Sinterklaas festival and the issue of Zwarte Piet. With new insights from experts who were never seen or heard on television.

Winky es una niña de seis años que acaba de llegar a Holanda con su madre, para vivir con su padre. Después de pasar un día bastante duro en el colegio, se encuentra con un potro muy hermoso.
Papá Noel ha regresado a su hogar y no volverá hasta el año que viene. Mientras tanto, su caballo Amérigo ha quedado al cuidado de Winky. Para ello, la niña está aprendiendo a montar con el pony Naf-Naf y además sus tíos le están enseñando todo sobre cómo tratar a los caballos. Y aunque a Winky le encanta montar a Naf-Naf, no puede quitarse de la cabeza que quiere cabalgar sobre Amérigo. Sus tíos se lo prohíben porque dicen que es un caballo demasiado grande, pero ella no termina de aceptarlo. Un día, cuando no hay nadie en la granja, Winky hace algo malo desobedeciendo a todos, y Amérigo escapa. Winky lo persigue con su bici por las dunas de la playa, pero el caballo termina desapareciendo. ¿Qué pasará ahora que Papá Noel está a punto de volver a por su caballo?. (FILMAFFINITY)

De pakjesboot vertrekt zonder Sinterklaas. Sinterklaas moet in een race tegen de klok de pakjesboot inhalen, het opnemen tegen boeven en zorgen dat de kinderen hun cadeautjes krijgen.
Elk jaar levert het weer problemen op om alle pakjes in november per boot van Spanje naar Nederland te krijgen. Daarom heeft Sinterklaas een oplossing bedacht: een geheime pakjesopslag in Nederland. Als Sinterklaas maanden voor de intocht alvast stiekem naar Nederland komt om persoonlijk de geheime pakjesopslag in Nederland te controleren, beginnen de problemen zich langzaam op te stapelen. Na een spectaculaire noodlanding met de Pakjes-Boeing loopt de planning zo in de war, dat zelfs de intocht in het water dreigt te vallen en het niet zeker lijkt dat er in december wel voldoende cadeautjes zijn voor alle kinderen.

The Petes run against a modern problem. Most of the chimneys have disappeared and many houses are now protected by an alarm. The poor Petes are always chased by the police when they try to deliver the presents to the children. One by one they end up in prison. When Sinterklaas is busy solving the problem of the Petes, he is kidnapped by the mean Dr. Brein and her accomplices Joris and Boris. Meanwhile, Pieta and Mrs. Dakjes try to teach a couple of Petes the petebusiness. There they are also harassed by Michiel, who wants to have an interview with Sinterklaas for the school newspaper. Giftnight is approaching and for the Petes and Sinterklaas it will be a race against time to find a solution and save Giftnight.
Max and Tikkelotje own an unsuccessful theatre company. When Tikkelotje notices Ramon - the faithful companion to Saint Nicholas - playing the guitar and singing, she decides to kidnap both him and Slechtweervandaag, Saint Nicholas’s trusty steed. Saint Nicholas is devastated, but eventually he pulls himself together and goes around the houses to collect the children’s wishlists. An adventure involving assorted people then ensues as he tried to beat the clock to rescue the hapless pair.
Dutch children’s friend Saint Nicholas is at his wit's end. The letters from children are stacking up and the list of gifts just keeps getting longer. How is he supposed to deliver all those gifts to all those sweet little children in one night? When Diego proposes to ask good old Santa for help, they travel to the North Pole, together with Clumsy Pete and children Max and Anna. Everything seems to work out fine, until Famke and Yvette, two escaped convicts, mess things up. Will Saint Nicolas and his Petes be able to save the feast of St. Nicholas?
Sinterklaas and the Pieten have a big problem. The castle of Sinterklaas is about to collapse. It must be demolished. That is why Sinterklaas and the Pieten are forced to stay at a campsite. Even Hugo Hogepief is at a loss, because no castle means no presents and gingerbread cookies for the children. Even though Kim Kado, Marco Marsepein and Willem Wortel try their utmost, there is a huge chance that the Sinterklaas party will not happen. But is the castle of Sinterklaas really about to collapse or is it a cunning plan by Stan & Olivier? Kikkie and Paco don't trust everything and start an investigation. Will they manage to save the Sinterklaas party?
