Sinopsis
Abrigado con una simple gabardina y calzando botas con tachuelas, el inglés George Mallory arriesgó todo por conseguir su sueño. Fue visto por última vez con vida a 245 metros de la cumbre del Everest, minutos antes de que el cielo se ennegreciera y acabara convertido en leyenda. Su muerte asombró al mundo entero. En 1999, el montañero Conrad Anker descubrió el cuerpo congelado de Mallory. Sus pertenencias fueron encontradas intactas, a falta de un solo objeto, la foto de su mujer Ruth, que el escalador había prometido colocar en lo alto de la cima.
