For the first time under Zuffa ownership, the show was held in Rio Rancho, New Mexico and not the usual spot of Las Vegas, Nevada. The event drew an estimated 268,000 viewers on Versus, a record low for the WEC.

WEC 25: McCullough vs. Cope was the first mixed martial arts event held by the World Extreme Cagefighting under Zuffa management. The event was held on January 20, 2007. WEC 25's main event was a championship fight for the vacant WEC Lightweight Title, between rivals Rob McCullough and Kit Cope. The co-main event was a WEC Featherweight Title bout between champion, Urijah Faber and challenger Joe Pearson.

WEC 21: Tapout was a mixed martial arts event held on June 15, 2006. WEC 21's main event was a fight between Rob McCullough and Ryan Healy.

WEC 27: Marshall vs. McElfresh was the third mixed martial arts event held by the World Extreme Cagefighting under Zuffa management. The event was held on May 12, 2007. UFC lightweight fighter and future WEC Lightweight Champion Jamie Varner was expected to make his promotional debut on this card against Richard Crunkilton, but the fight was removed from the card after Varner suffered training injuries.

WEC 33: Marshall vs. Stann was a mixed martial arts (MMA) event held by World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) that took place on Wednesday, March 26, 2008.

Dynamite!! 2008 was the annual kickboxing and mixed martial arts event held on December 31, 2008, at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. It featured eleven DREAM mixed martial arts rules fights in a variety of weight classes, four K-1 rules fights, and the inaugural K-1 KOSHIEN Under 18 high school tournament.

K-1 - Dynamite!! Power of Courage 2010 features a heavyweight championship bout between Alistair Overeem and Todd Duffee and a featherweight championship bout between Bibiano Fernandes and Hiroyuki Takaya. It was held before 26,729 fans at the Saitama Super arena on 31st December 2010.

Dream 6: Middle Weight Grandprix 2008 Final Round was a MMA event held on September 23, 2008. The event hosted the crowning of Dream's first Middleweight Champion at the conclusion of the Middleweight Grand Prix and also featured a Heavyweight match up between Mirko Filipovic Versus Alistair Overeem.

DREAM.8: Welter Weight Grand Prix 2009 First Round was a MMA event promoted by FEG promotion Dream on April 5, 2009. Unlike Dream's past tournaments, the Welter Weight Grand Prix is only scheduled to have eight participants. DREAM's welterweight division has a 76 kilograms (168 lb) weight limit.

Dream 12 took place on October 25, 2009 in Osaka, Japan. The event marked the first time DREAM used a hexagonal (white) cage. Fights consisted of three five-minute rounds, as used in the North American system, though elbows remained illegal.

This event was originally expected to be held in Seoul, South Korea on April 24, 2010. However, many factors, including the issue that many top Korean stars such as Denis Kang and Hong Man Choi were not available in April, contributed to the Korea event being cancelled. This was the second DREAM event to take place in a cage.

WEC 29: Condit vs. Larson was a mixed martial arts event held by World Extreme Cagefighting. The event took place on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event aired live on the Versus Network. The main event featured the WEC Welterweight title fight between champion, Carlos Condit, and challenger, Brock Larson. The show also featured the U.S. debut of PRIDE veteran Paulo Filho as he fought Joe Doerksen for the vacant WEC Middleweight title.
