or Dylan Hayden (Dominic Kates), life has been outwardly idyllic, but internally agonizing. He lives every day with the fractured memories of atrocities he witnessed a decade earlier as a young boy: the murders of his parents and two sisters. To help cope with the upcoming 10-year anniversary of the now infamous and high-profile murders, Dylan agrees to be the subject of a documentary directed by opportunistic true crime vlogger Ethan Lewis (Cody Kilpatrick Steele). As Dylan’s repressed memories gradually resurface, he begins to doubt everything he has ever known about his family’s past – including the truth about his own brother’s involvement in the murders. And when a series of events leads to a renewed public interest in the case, Dylan must confront the truth on his own and find closure once and for all.

Loose Ends is a collage film about the process of internalizing the information that bombards us through a combination of personal experience and media in all forms. Speeding through our senses in ever-increasing numbers and complicated mixtures of fantasy, dream and reality from both outside and in, these fragmented images of life, sometimes shared by all, sometimes isolated and obscure, but with common threads, lead us to a state of psychological entropy tending toward a uniform inertness… an insensitive un-involvement in the human condition and our own humanity. —Chick Strand
On 18 September 1929, José Régio sent a letter to Alberto Serpa expressing his desire to create a production company and start making films. For almost 90 years, nothing more was known: no reply was ever found and Régio never mentioned the subject again. The discovery of some old reels in a collector’s hoard seems to provide the ending to the story.
"I came across an old industrial film by Siemens on computer and their language. To better appreciate the film I first of all cut off the sound, I then took out the colours and reduced the speed. Slowly the very substance of the film emerged and I began to see the deep meditation that was hidden in the film. Finally I made a black and white copy of the material and let the images pulsate in a general breathing rhythm." —Jürgen Reble
"All-Stars" is a hilarious commentary on the state of all youth sports today, fueled by the outrageous behavior of the desperate sports parent living vicariously through his or her child. In the vein of "Best in Show", where it's more about the dog owners than the dogs - "All-Stars" is about the adults involved in youth sports (parents, coaches, umpires, volunteers, board members, etc.) more than the kids. The end result is a funny, yet compelling spin on fast pitch softball as well as a unique state of affairs on the outlandish antics of a few crazed parents.
