Sinopsis
Jane, una joven escritora que sufre depresión posparto, va con su marido y su bebé a una casa de campo para intentar mejorar. Cuando llegan, Jane está encantada con la casa, pero poco a poco se va obsesionando con el papel pintado de las paredes de su habitación. Tras un tiempo, el estado de Jane no mejora, más bien al revés, el aislamiento, el papel pintado, su matrimonio y su bebé hacen que se vuelva psicótica.
