Sinopsis
Video registration of the second comedy special by the Dutch comedian Stefano Keizers. In Keizers' own words, 'Sorry Baby' is 'an art performance that tries to approach a regular comedy special as closely as possible'.
Video registration of the first comedy special by Dutch comedian Janneke de Bijl. After graduating in philosophy, De Bijl expresses her insight into the meaninglessness of life in her comedy. In her first comedy special she rants about her relationship, her sluggish environment and the whole self-help culture, which she has of course tried out for herself first. Janneke answers questions such as: how do you know whether to close your mails and why running doesn't solve anything?
Theo Maassen is back. In all its anger, indignation, amazement about so much stupidity and lack of empathy in society, and advocates understanding and reconciliation.
In his third comedy special the Dutch comedian Fuad Hassen talks about how little things can turn out differently than expected, only to change the whole world.
A video-registration of the revue/cabaret show 'Showponies 2' by the Alex Klaasen Revue. In this sequel to the first Showponies-show, Alex Klaassen explores to what extent he cares about what (the still quite heteronormative) society thinks. Klaassen considers coming out for a second time, because he feels like he has ended up in a second closet after his first coming out.
With great pace, jokes and a good dose of self-mockery, the Moroccan comedian tells poignant stories taken from real life.

Hans Teeuwen is terug!
Javier introduces himself again in the Ga-Bie-Jer show. He shows that he is actually polite and well-mannered. That he really can control his anger. That in a time of tension, fear and a lot of screaming, he knows how to keep the coolness.
Video registration of the second comedy special by the Dutch comedian Stefano Keizers. In Keizers' own words, 'Sorry Baby' is 'an art performance that tries to approach a regular comedy special as closely as possible'.
Video registration of the second comedy special by the Dutch comedian Martijn Kardol. A show about social distancing, the online life and individualism.
Ronald Goededmondt's third stand-up comedy show is about the confusion in the world and taking revenge on it. From big issues to small dilemmas can be read on his face. A man who does more than any other comedian and his performance becomes a social thing.
Award-winning artist Wim Helsen proves in his fifth theater performance that he not only has deep, absurd thoughts, but is also a good listener.
Maassen won two of the biggest comedy contests in the Netherlands in 1990, the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival(GSCF), and Cameretten. The GSCF jury was not pleased with the quality of the contestants that year, and gave Maassen the first prize, remarking he was the best of the year, but still not very good. In the following years, however, Maassen fame grew steadily, especially amongst students. Maassens style was based on stand-up comedy: Alone on stage, telling jokes and stories to amuse the public, without any musical support (a thing common for most Dutch comedians up to that point). Since 2000, Maassens shows are shown on Dutch national television, making him more and more a household name.
Theo Maassen is extraordiarily hard on Holland, but seems to see the fun of it. Met alle respect is his seventh solo programme. Just like in his other shows, Theo Massen combines his satirical view on our society with his daily life.
