Dos hermanas que tienen la habilidad de comunicarse con los fantasmas, todo se complica cuando sus caminos se cruzan con un productor de cine francés mientras están actuando en el París de los años 30.

El diseñador de videojuegos Matt Booth tiene una oportunidad de salvar su carrera presentando su proyecto más grande hasta el momento en los Video Game Awards de Nuevo México. Pero después de encontrarse con un amigo en el aeropuerto y beber un poco demasiado antes de su vuelo, termina en México, específicamente en Acapulco.
