"Takut" was born from the Komodo Films, and is a compilation of short horror films from seven directors who produced six film segments in one anthology. Because Dibyo accidentally saves Lamhot from a fight with another gangster group, Lamhot then claims Dibyo as his best friend, moreover after he lies that his name is John Sidabutar. Because of that, Lam-hot takes him to his home and guarantee his life.

After experiencing trauma and disappearance of her son, Astrid struggles to cope with the reality. She has to face one of the perpetrators who brings up painful events.

Ca Bau Kan relates the saga of Giok Lan, an Indonesian woman living in the Netherlands, who returns to Indonesia in search of her roots. Her mother, Tinung, a village woman, was known as ‘Ca Bau Kan’ – a word used to describe a courtesan who entertained Chinese men in colonial Indonesia. Giok Lan’s father, Tan Peng Liang (Ferry Salim), was an immigrant Chinese merchant who had a very successful tobacco business in Batavia. She becomes deeply involved with him, and causes a scandal when he has Tinung move in with his family. The film is set between 1930 and 1950, and unfolds the story of Giok Lan and her parents: Tinung and Tan Peng Liang where Tan is eventually ruined when his rivals begin to attack him. This is owing to the significant contrast in socio-economic and cultural background, as the love of these last two characters face a series of difficulties.

A Significant band from Jakarta is having a concert in Kotabaru, South Kalimantan. Their vocalist Shita (Dinda Azani) mysteriously disappeared. The other band members are trying to find the vocalist. After searching for and finding information that shita is in Saranjana, a supernatural city that is believed by local residents to be a mysterious city that is modern and advanced. In order to bring their vocalist back to the real world, they have to go on an adventure through horror and mystical events to find a portal to Saranjana.
