Adela Sequeyro Haro (March 11, 1901 – December 24, 1992) was a Mexican journalist, actress, filmmaker and screenwriter. She was a pioneer of Mexican cinema both during the silent era and the talkies.

Julian gets framed for stealing a company check by his superior Carlos who's courting his wife Olga together trying to get him outa the way so they can be together, setting him up, the deed does the job and Julian lands in jail.

Colonel Carrasco's wife Marta leaves him taking his young son. The child, Juan, grows into an admirable and well-mannered young man. Having been promoted to a higher rank of power amidst the Mexican Revolution, the indulgent and corrupt Colonel accepts a bribe to free a revolutionary, Felipe Martinez, from his prison. Martinez has been sentenced to execution at the hands of a firing squad. Carrasco asks to have the revolutionary replaced by absolutely anyone. In a twist of fate, that anyone turns out to be his own long lost son Juan. Upon receiving this news, Marta races to the prison and explains the predicament to Carrasco. He subsequently desperately attempts to prevent the gunning down of his son by his very own government officials.
In "Terrible Nightmare", Amador, the dull 'Aztec Charlot' embodies Phill Otto Malo, frustrated aviator. Being anxiously awaited in the city of Puebla, he crashes before arriving at his destination. Consequently, he faces several adventures: bullfighter's dress goes to a bullring; in a cabaret flirts with a transvestite believing him a woman, the Keystone Cops come to the cabaret in the face of a bomb threat; Finally, Amador is awakened from his "terrible nightmare" on a park bench by a policeman.
