The first days of 2020's lockdown seem to drag forever for a group of tourists trapped in a Thai hotel. In strict confinement and as the big day of an unexpected event approaches, emotional entanglements, tensions and long kept secrets rise to the surface.

The film tells the story of Lu You, a once highly regarded Chinese female footballer who retired at the height of her career due to an injury. At this low point in her life, she came to a poor and backward mountain village in Pakistan to help a group of young girls pursue their football dream.

Shot over the course of ten years on both film and video, the film consists of a series of carefully composed tableaux of people and environments. Pedestrians shuffle across a bustling Beijing street, steelworkers linger outside a deserted factory, tourists laugh and scamper across a crowded beach, worshippers kneel to pray in a remote village. With a painterly eye for composition, Wang captures China as he sees it, calling to a temporary halt a land in a constant state of change.

Cuatro destinos trágicos vinculados por un accidente escolar. Para proteger a un amigo, Bu empuja por las escaleras al matón del instituto, Shuai. Despite Little Brother being the local poster boy for not stowing away, his friend named Monkey tried to do the same, but died on the voyage over due to exposure to toxic ..
