Graduating senior Sakisaka Saki is secretly in love with her older sister Noriko's boyfriend, Kazame Kaname, unaware that Noriko and Kaname have broken up. Saki hopes to escape her dilemma when she goes to college, but she ends up attending the same college as Kaname. During orientation, she is recruited to Kaname's video club. Screenplay
Unas barcas dedicadas al contrabando descienden por el río Nakagawa hasta una isla, donde se esconde la mercancía antes de venderla. Allí está la célebre y temida taberna de Fukagawa, cuartel general de una banda de peligrosos contrabandistas. Durante mucho tiempo, no sólo ha sido un lugar intocable para la policía, sino que ha contado incluso con su connivencia. Sin embargo, la llegada de nuevos policías constituye una amenaza para la impunidad de la banda, que se verá obligada a tomar precauciones.

Five women classmates from a college in Tokyo are on the first stretch of a walking tour when one of them, Masako, falls ill at a railway station. Osen, a middle-aged maid from a nearby inn, takes her in and nurses her, assisted by Dr. Minami, a young physician who diagnoses her illness as a mild case of pneumonia. With Masako in good hands and needing a few days to recuperate, her classmates continue their tour. Masako’s recovery, however, is hampered by her spoiled and immature nature and her determination to punish the world for the loss of her mother.
