La trama se centra en contar la travesía emprendida por la familia Villas-Bôas, concretamente de dos de sus integrantes, quienes deberán llevar a cabo una importante misión en tierras brasileñas con el objetivo de conseguir las metas que se propusieron cuando eran tan sólo unos críos. No será una tarea nada sencilla, puesto que tendrán que recorrer un largo y duro camino si desean hacerse un pequeño hueco en los anales de la historia a nivel nacional y mundial.

Basado en el cuento “Manuscrito hallado en un bolsillo” de Julio Cortázar, el director Roberto Gervitz nos propone el juego del título, llevado a cabo por Martín, pianista de un night club. Su imposible juego consiste en dibujar rutas del subterráneo de Sao Paulo en un pequeño cuaderno, tomar un tren y seguir a diferentes mujeres al azar, de llamativa belleza por lo general, para ver si alguna de ellas elige alguna de sus rutas preestablecidas.
