George Benjamin Meehan, Jr. (1891–1947) was the cinematographer of more than 150 American films.
Meehan was born on July 19, 1891 in Brooklyn, New York. During World War I he was a cinematographer in the United States Army. He married Louise Harriett Mahoney Meehan (1891–1974), who hailed from Montana.
Meehan was the cinematographer for Mary of the Movies (1923), Ben Hur: A Tale of the Christ (1925), The Ghost Talks (1929) Back to the Woods (1937), The Big Chance (1933), Inside Information (1934), Tarzan’s Revenge (1938), Riders of Black River (1939), The Wildcat of Tucson (1940), and Beyond the Sacramento (1940).
George Meehan died on February 10, 1947 in Hollywood, Los Angeles and was buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park of Glendale, California.

"Bulldog" Drummond is vacationing in his country home in England, and his house if rifled by two thieves. After they leave he finds a card marked with some mysterious letters. Doris Meredith comes by the next day, pretending her car has broken down. Drummond knows better but plays along with her. Drummond calls Scotland Yard Inspector Holmes, and is informed that some of the letters comprise the code-name for a Yard-man who disappeared while carrying some diamonds from France to England. Doris tells Drummond the man is her brother. Drummond uses a decoy to lure the thieves out of hiding, but they adduct Doris.

The stooges are convicts about to be executed for some murders they didn't commit. The day before the execution they are tricked into marrying three rich girls who need husbands to collect a legacy. At the last minute the real murderers confess and the stooges are pardoned. The girls are now stuck with the stooges so they plot to get rid of them by making them become gentlemen.
