Dejan es un tipo corriente que vive en un país poscomunista. Pero cada vez que una delegación china visita su país, es tratado como enemigo público: la seguridad del Estado pincha sus teléfonos y le sigue tanto a él como a su familia. La razón es que practica Falun Gong. Pero, ¿qué es Falun Gong? ¿Por qué está prohibido y perseguido en China y qué relación tiene con Serbia? Siguiendo los acontecimientos al margen de la Cumbre China celebrada en Belgrado en 2014, cuando la policía detuvo ilegalmente a 11 activistas de Falun Gong, descubrimos una historia. Los activistas fueron detenidos para evitar que se difundiera la verdad sobre Falun Gong en China. A través de su testimonio en esta película, así como del material de vídeo exclusivo de Dejan, la verdad sale por fin a la luz. Es la amarga verdad sobre China y sobre todo el mundo en que vivimos.

Through the intimate stories of seven young directors, October is the generational attitude towards Serbia today, shown in different perspectives and through different genres - from black comedy to melodrama, poetic portrait to the socially engaged horror. Motif that binds all of the stories together is the tenth anniversary of the democratic revolution. Each film is taking place on that day, 5th of October in 2010, and each film is differently related to the anniversary and what that event means 10 years after. The film brings fresh visions of the seven young directors who were teenagers at the time of the overthrow of president Milosevic and his regime. On a personal and emotional way they show a complex picture of modern Serbia.
