The story of the life of a Serbian prince Rastko Nemanjić - Saint Sava.

The story is set on the day of bombing of RTS (Serbian national TV) in 1999, which follows five characters whose paths intertwine on the fateful night.

The plot of this film can be viewed from a two different levels. The first is universal and deals with the psychological theme of need for competition in the group, highlighting the need for the victory, which in life usually does not depend on the true virtues of the winner, so the result is usually tragicomic. The story talks about the choice of the most noble work. Selected participants arrive at the guesthouse on the border between Croatia and Serbia to prepare for the final act of the competition and the jury's decision. Seven competitors have a rather narrow view of the world. Even when the big events, such as ethnic conflicts in this part of the Balkans, the contestants insist to proceed the competition and to choose the hero of heroes, even though the very idea of competition has become anachronistic under the pressure of current events (the anger of the local Serbian population of the newly established Croatian authorities).

The plot of this television movie is located in Belgrade, the hometown of screenwriter Velimir Lukic, in the 1960s. Later, he meets Zorka Solina, young and rich girl from Mostar who, again because of the interests of her family, leaves the poet. In his mature years, Aleksa Santic engages himself passionately in social and political life of his age. Disappointments, poverty, sickness and loneliness follow. And the certainty of early death. His older brother tells the story of poet's life, while he is dying.

"Virgina" tells a tale from the 19th century Serbian village near the Adriatic Sea. Because of the extreme patriarchal culture there is a superstition that families without male heirs are cursed. When the wife gives birth to their fourth daughter, father decides that the child will become a so-called "Virgina" and that she will live as a man.

The story of a lonely man without illusions and bitterness, who collects simple pieces of sense, humanity and love through his actions.

In this politically charged drama, the turbulent times just following Marshal Tito's rejection of ties to Moscow comes to life. Interestingly, even in the first few years after the Yugoslavian leader's death, the subject matter of this film was considered too hot to handle, and the director had to appeal to the courts for permission to shoot it. In the story, Martin is a schoolboy with a sense of the absurd and a willingness to use ridicule to amuse himself and his classmates. He has an uncle who is high up in the nation's bureaucracy who protects him and his grandfather now that his father has died. His grandfather is too stubborn to give his farm to the local farming collective, and Martin himself is in hot water with the principal for making fun of his girlfriend, one of the students at the high school. However, as long as the uncle is able to protect them, they remain out of hot water.

En la segunda parte de su trilogía bélica, Zafranovic aborda esta vez la historia de un partisano enfrentado al dilema de anteponer la causa política a sus esperanzas y preocupaciones particulares. Película extremadamente lírica y hasta sensual por momentos (luminosa su fotografía, el sol omnipresente), pero violenta y amarga en otros (especialmente al recrear los episodios de batalla en retaguardia), se aborda en ella la guerra como una cuestión moral, sin heroísmos, así como las consecuencias de la intransigencia ideológica, con independencia de su signo.

Zagreb in 1942. The police blocks on of the houses while looking for one of the communist officials hiding in the apartment of young female illegal fighter. Them two manage to escape, however police kills her husband. In the house, her small baby is left, which police wants to use as a bait so they could catch them. Children who live in the neighborhood steal the baby, upon which the police starts thorough search of the house.

The funeral in his native village evokes the main character's reminiscences from the childhood, but the bygone time exist only in his memories.

Ljubica is a middle-aged woman who lives in Zagreb and works as an audio pedagogue with deaf-mute children. She herself has a small child, while her husband she hardly communicates to, works in Germany. Coincidentally, she starts an affair with Zlatko, a much younger yet a man from a wealthy background. Although Zlatko is not much concerned about bourgeois views of his parents and has sincere love for Ljubica, it seems that their relationship has no future...

In 1928 young Communist activist was arrested and put on trial for anti-state activity. Years later he became known as Tito, Communist president of Yugoslavia, and this TV-movie was made for the 50th anniversary of those events.

Written in 1932 between the two world wars, this TV drama brings a critique of militarism and speaks of the meaninglessness of warfare and the tragedy of human lives and the tragedy of human lives in such an environment.
