Bebe y Alex son pareja y están huyendo. Tras un negocio de drogas fallido, se dirigen a Baja, en México, donde se esconden a la espera de recibir pasaportes falsos que les permita entrar en Venezuela. El malvado padre de Bebe, le pide al marido separado de ésta, Michael , que los siga y traiga a su hija de vuelta. Al principio, Michael está algo reticente a aceptar el trabajo, pero finalmente acepta guiado por los sentimientos que aún le unen a Bebe.
