Sandra y Gerardo, una pareja de jóvenes recién casados, adictos a las drogas y ávidos del dinero fácil, están de luna de miel, disfrutan de la vida y el sexo, durante el paseo deciden comprar un hotel que se encuentran por el camino. Con el tiempo los negocios no van muy bien, se comienzan a endeudar, el consumo de alcohol y drogas aumenta, los descontrola, los bancos amenazan con quitarles todo, se desesperan; en ese momento, casualmente, aparece Sergio, un delincuente temerario, aventurero, vividor, de buen aspecto, armado, que acaba de cometer una estafa y está huyendo con un botín de medio millón de dólares y varias libras de cocaína. Sandra y Gerardo terminan asesinando a Sergio, toman el dinero, las drogas: con esto pagan sus deudas y tienen como dar rienda suelta a sus adicciones; pero comenzará un infierno que los enfrentará con la policía y con la mafia, además saldrá a relucir el pasado oscuro que yace detrás de la pareja.
