Hilda is forced to follow helplessly the tragic death of her mountaineer husband Zsolt Eröss. As the heir of the deceased Hilda tries to cope with public expectations with her husband's attitude. It takes time for her to admit, that she needs help in dealing with the tragedy.

Un detective se hacer cargo del caso, y pronto se obsesiona con él, sometido a una gran presión por parte del fiscal, que quiere un culpable. Atascado en el asfixiante mundo social, político y psicológico de la Hungría socialista, convulsionada por protestas contra el régimen, el detective pronto se encuentra enredado en una red de intrincadas conspiraciones e inquietantes descubrimientos.

Áron is a happy child in his family. But at some point things take a different turn, and his mother starts to lose her health rapidly. As this happens, the man in charge decides what's best for Áron without consulting the young boy's opinion, and the boy finds himself thrown out of his warm home into an orphanage in the woods. He's utterly displeased by what's happening, without knowing he has yet to face much worse...
