Cuenta la historia de Kei, una chica de 17 años que ha nacido con excepcionales habilidades atléticas y decide entrar al dojo de karate Matsumura. Allí la chica rápidamente supera a los varones con más experiencia, pero a pesar de su alto nivel, el sensei Matsumura no le dará el cinturón negro porque Kei solo quiere usar el karate para herir a las personas.
