Robert Rother

Historia

His origins are in Melk upon Danube, the same town Thomas was born in. No surprise that both learnt all polkas, waltzes and marches as early as in their childhood under the rigorous supervision of Thomas´ father, a well-known conductor. Those polkas, waltzes and marches had been the musical foundation of our band in the early years. Robert is playing tearjerkers so incredibly beautiful, that you go all dewy-eyed simply by thinking about it. With soooo much melodiousness and sooo much vibe. Contrary to Thomas, Robert doesn’t move much around on stage, instead bringing his countenance to bear all the more.

Mnozil Brass - Magic Moments
These crazy Mnozil boys write: "There ain't no better gift!!!! You see, it's a great gift coming in a small size and it is absolutely making sense! because it clearly reveals the spirit of the person giving it at the same time equally clearly indicating the good taste of the person receiving it. It truly is a charming and witty present with a soft-footed appearance like a young, adolescent deer. and it contains music you can even hear and see!" " In their show Magic Moments, Mnozil Brass, the seven masters of perceptive brass and song, will again move and enchant their audience. Throughout finely chiseled arrangements and charming original compositions the splendid tone colours and timbres of their priceless brass instruments are fully shown to advantage".

Mnozil Brass - Das Trojanische Boot
Trompete, Gesang
The Trojan Boat – The first theatre work by the Viennese brass septe Mnozil Brass, which has justly been described as the “Monty Python of Music”. Mnozil Brass are all graduates of the famous Vienna Conservatory and impress with their breathtaking comedy and over-the-top imagination. Fully in compliance with Shakespeare’s motto “Let me play the lion too”, they take on all the musical and acting roles in their operetta and – just in passing and with a lot of humour – they also blur the borders between stage and orchestra pit.
Mnozil Brass - Seven
himself
Mnozil Brass playing and singing for several voices and from golden throats and tinny horns. So much so that one know what hit. A pretty anarchic mix of brass, jazz and comedy.
