Jill, la esposa de doctor Brian Cowper, está en casa trabajando en la tesis que le permitirá licenciarse en Antropología. Inesperadamente, recibe la visita de Max, el fontanero que se encarga de las labores de mantenimiento del sistema de tuberías de la casa.
