La historia inicia cuando el grupo de Guardianes, encabezados por el arcángel Miguel, son encargados por el Creador (invisible), de llevar a cabo una misión en la Tierra; a bordo de un dirigible llamado “Los Siete”, salen hacia la Tierra donde deben llevar a cabo una dura batalla con los ángeles caídos. Eli y Kira, dos de los miembros más jóvenes de la Fuerza Guardián, se ven en apuro cuando en su primera misión a la Tierra toma un desvío, esto los lleva a tener que enfrentarse a Morg, un enemigo mortal, pero en el olvido.
