Un arquitecto asiste a una reunión política clandestina en dictadura. El lugar es en un departamento de una población que él mismo diseñó. Es ahí donde recibe un balazo a quemarropa en la frente. Desde ese momento iniciará un viaje entre la realidad y la ilusión hacia la muerte, en donde imaginará estar situado en Chiloé. En ese archipiélago es donde el arquitecto equiparará el duro contexto actual con un pasado mítico dominado por los chonos.
