Un grupo internacional de estudiantes de cine encuentra un perturbador vídeo en la dark web que parece contener algún tipo de fenómeno paranormal. Cuando finalmente deciden que el material es exactamente lo que andaban buscando para producir su último documental, los jóvenes ponen rumbo al manicomio en el que transcurrían los hechos. Aunque todo parece ir sobre ruedas, el terror no se hace esperar.
