Han pasado dos años desde que acabó la Cuarta Guerra Shinobi y con ello la última pelea entre Naruto y Sasuke. Konoha se encuentra en paz, pero un nuevo enemigo amenaza esta paz. La luna que fue creada por el sabio de los seis caminos cuando sello al Jūbi, se perturba y empieza a dirigirse a la tierra en forma de un meteorito gigante, se descubre que el causante de esta inminente tragedia es alguien llamado Toneri Ōtsutsuki quien es el último descendiente del Clan Ōtsutsuki, cuyos miembros habitaron en la luna los último mil años. En medio del inminente desastre Toneri Ōtsutsuki intenta secuestrar a Hinata, pero Hannabi, la hermana menor, es quien termina siendo raptada, es entonces donde Naruto y los demás deberán rescatarla y vencer a Toneri Ōtsutsuki antes de que sea demasiado tarde y así descubrir las verdaderas intenciones de Ōtsutsuki.

La historia va de dos reinos que están en guerra, Levamme y Amatsukami. Un día, en una fiesta, el príncipe de Levamme, pide la mano de Fana del Moral en matrimonio y le promete que en un año acabará la guerra y que se casará con ella. Pasado el año, la guerra continúa y la gente de Amatsukami intenta asesinar a Fana, pero no lo consiguen, es por ello que el príncipe, preocupado por lo que sucedió, propone enviarla al Reino Levamme para tenerla protegida.

Colección formada por quince cortos realizados por diferentes directores y creadores japoneses del campo de la animación, incluyendo a un estadounidense, Michael Arias, productor de "Animatrix" y director de "Tekkon Kinkreet". La duración de cada corto es de un minuto. Su emisión se dividió en tres temporadas de cinco cortos cada una, para su emisión en fechas determinadas. Kazumi is at a punk concert and bumps into Yuko. Yuko is a girl from another dimension. Kazumi invites Yuko over to her apartment. There Yuko's robotic sidekick and stead Face comes from out of the t.v. The wall opens up and Yuko and Face enter into different dimension. Yuko seeks to kill the creator of the dimension to end the suffering of it's people. Yuko meets Kazumi, who claims not to be from Earth, at a rock concert, and they become instant friends. Yuko invites her new friend to come live with her. However, onces Kazumi gets to Yuko's apartment, she leaves through the wall with her trusty cybernetic steed and into another dimension to face evil.
