Hotel guests look restrained, sedated in the diffuse light of the service provider’s shimmering cage. A network of joists, pilasters and fluting exposes the proverbial off-season chill in the seating arrangements. Smart-phones and tablets mask a total lack of communication.

Esta es la verdadera historia sobre la mayor operación de falsificación de todos los tiempos. En ella participaron presos del campo de concentración de Ebensee, en Austria, que ahora nos cuentan su experiencia a través de una serie de entrevistas personales. El plan de Hitler era dañar gravemente la economía británica poniendo en circulación grandes cantidades de billetes falsos de aquel país. Para realizar las imitaciones, se seleccionaron a los mejores expertos en dibujo, grabado e imprenta de entre los judíos que estaban prisioneros en los campos de concentración alemanes. Después de superar algunas dificultades iniciales, lograron imprimir alrededor de 140 millones de billetes perfectamente falsificados. Sin embargo el plan nunca llegó a ejecutarse. La llegada de las fuerzas estadounidenses y la rendición total de Alemania provocaron que las prensas fueran destruidas para eliminar cualquier rastro de la operación.

The anonymous hero of the story, to which the spectator is introduced, attempts at freeing himself from his enslaved life. He finally has to realize the transience of the creature man and whithdraws from the constraints of worldly existence.
