Husband
MARIANNE (Evabritt Strandberg) is a 68-year old woman diagnosed with a terminal disease. Left with angst, she seeks therapy at a clinic where she is treated with Psilocybin (LSD) and meditation by a counselor, Eva (Hanna Schygulla). Through this she is transferred to her subconscious, where she meets and confronts her 25-year old self and her former husband.

En 1943, durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Stig, un joven de 15 años, comparte con sus compañeros de clase el interés adolescente por los misterios del sexo. Kjell, que se apoda a si mismo Frank porque vende más, es amante de la ginebra, de Beethoven y de Mahler, y aunque está enamorado de su mujer, ocasionalmente también le es infiel. Al tiempo que tiene sus encuentros amorosos con Viola, Stig desarrolla una fuerte amistad con Frank.
