Historia
Российский режиссёр и сценарист, работает в кино, на телевидении, в театре. Известен по фильмам День радио и О чем говорят мужчины.
Проходил режиссёрские курсы ВИППК, в мастерской Николая Бурляева и Бориса Плотникова, благодаря чему стал режиссёром кино и телевидения.
Окончил Воронежский государственный институт искусств в 1989 году.
Работал режиссёром в продюсерском центре «Дакарт» (1995—1998), на телевизионном канале АСТ (1997—1999), режиссёром-постановщиком в компаниях «Бизнес-Видео» и «Видео Коммуникации» (1999—2002), режиссёром-постановщиком документальных фильмов продюсерского центра СТФ Юнит (2003—2004), в 2005 режиссёр-постановщик видео-оформления для спектакля «Быстрее, чем кролики» театра «Квартет И». В 2005 — режиссёр-постановщик трех серий сериала «Кулагин и Партнёры» и в 2006 году работал над документальным фильмом для спектакля «Америка-2» театра «Современник».
В 2008 вышел новый фильм Дмитрия Дьяченко «День радио», в котором главные роли исполнили актёры «Квартета И». В 2010-м он выпустил ещё один фильм с теми же актёрами — «О чём говорят мужчины», а в 2011 году снял его продолжение.

An unprecedented epidemic of rabies is breaking out in the taiga. Infected wolves become more and more ferocious, and even the slightest bite brings certain death. At the same time, a desperate father decides to forcibly isolate his son in one of the hunting lodges in order to save him from addiction. Soon, he and several local residents will have to fight not only with a rabid pack, but also with the most dangerous predator of the forest.

El mal fue vencido e Ivan está disfrutando de su fama junto a su familia, sus amigos y el maravilloso mundo moderno que le ayuda a vivir de manera confortable. Por suerte, tiene una espada mágica para pasar de un mundo a otro, para coger algunas cosas de vez en cuando. Pero cuando el mal reaparece y la existencia del mundo mágico está en peligro, Ivan tendrá que enfrentarse a los enemigos para que la paz regrese a Belogorie.

The main characters of the film are residents of different places of this country, most common people, with whom most uncommon things, pure wonders, happen. Semyon and Lyuba, a family of fireguards, have a chance to fulfill a dream – to go to Moscow to take part in their favorite TV show “Field of Miracles” (“Pole Chudes”), where they should make a life choice “trophy or money?” An inexperienced officer of Patrol-Guard Service and at the same time an experienced loser Sanya will have to not only survive his first day of service but also to accept his wife’s labors and to reanimate his partner. Four newly acquainted fellows must by any means fly to Moscow in non-flying weather, and a couple of young lovers must reconcile their irreconcilable parents by some mysterious way. Valera has to decide on a dilemma: to save mankind from the Deluge or just to fly with his karaoke-alien-friends in their old UFO? All these things can happen only once a year – on December, 31!

Will they manage to get home in time to celebrate the New Year together?
