Una tribu de primitivos "hombres del barro" encuantran una pelota de croquet, rodando a través de su bosque. Tras ella, encuentran una gran propiedad abandonada en Long Island. Al entrar, comienzan a civilizarse y asumir los roles estereotipados y la vestimenta de la gente en una fiesta de fin de semana.
