The drama called I Love, You Love was made in 1980 but because of the absurd ideological ban, the film entered cinemas nine years later. Pišta is an unmarried man who works at a freight wagon which carries letters and parcels. Alcohol helps him to overcome his handicap of being short and not good-looking. He wishes he had a woman, but the woman he really wants, ageing Viera who reloads the cargoes, has a soft spot for another man. So, Pišta has nobody and nothing, except for senile mother who sometimes fails to recognize him. The film received Silver Bear for Best Director at the International Film Festival in Berlin.

Los habitantes de Krekovice, un pueblo cercano a Praga, viven en régimen de cooperativa, siguiendo el modelo soviético impuesto en Checoslovaquia después de la II Guerra Mundial. Por este motivo, todos son responsables de Otik, un joven retrasado que vive solo. La cooperativa decide que Otik trabaje como ayudante de Pávek, un camionero. Pero, tras una larga temporada, Pávek decide prescindir de él, pues es demasiado despistado y sólo le crea problemas. Así que otro vecino del pueblo tendrá que admitir al joven como ayudante. Pero surge un problema nuevo: alguien está intentado apropiarse de la casa de Otik sin que éste se dé cuenta. La cooperativa deberá encontrar una solución.

It is the story of a man who had financial troubles. He was married several times and had to pay for several kids. He wanted to earn some extra money by playing in a cafe. But one drunken guest supposes he is a waiter and pays his bill to him. So the main hero finds his chance - he goes through restaurants, pretending that he is a waiter and asks people to hand their cash to him...

A comedy about exchange of 12 apartments , which, its organizer, lawyer Radosta, rightly called Action Ball Lightning. To prepare, organize and execute the exchange of twelve apartments is a work worthy champions. Radosta, who was excellently played by Rudolf Hrušínský, solved all sudden difficulties and complications on the fly and with grace. To be sure that the on the D-day everything goes well he prepares a little rehearsal, which reveals many minor issues caused for example by wedding ordered to inappropriate term or hesitation of some participants. Last but not least a night exercise announced by drunk psychologist Knotků, creates a lot of confusion that nearly sabotaged the whole operation.

To the intolerant and bloody-minded Prague actor Bergner (Milos Kopecký) is the lead in Moliere's Misanthrope which he is studying now as tailor-made. On top of that he is malicious and he advises to the new actress Helenka (Dagmar Havlová) in such a way that she upsets the theatre director. If Bergner accuses somebody of a mischief and he is wrong, he never apologizes. When he almost crashes an older elegant lady by his car on the zebra crossing, instead of an apology he calls her an old ballet dancer... But in Brno's TV he takes part in a discussion on manners and he gives himself as an example of good manners and grace. In the train he meets a magic old man (Ladislav Pesek) who warns him and admonishes him to change his behavior. After he arrives to Prague the old man's threat comes true.

Taxi driver Koukal (Miroslav Machácek) is stopped by the police for a routine traffic check. In the boot of his car the police find the body of a naked man. Koukal is arrested even though he claims he knows nothing about it. The case is assigned to Major Mlynár (Milan Sandhaus). The police identify the corpse as that of an Austrian citizen called Mitrik. Koukal has been regularly driving people interested in gambling to a secret gaming den. The police are put onto the gambling den by another taxi driver, who admits that he drove Mitrik there. Mlynár and officer cadet Pecka (Ivan Vyskocil) feign interest in gambling and visit the gaming den incognito.

It’s a hot holiday season in the city and Alena is pretty much left to her own little self, fantasizing and running her personal daily rituals, keeping most people at a safe distance, yet trying to get male attention.

Major Kalas from the Prague criminal intelligence service has been sent to a small town of Dubá in North Bohemia to help with the investigation of the puzzling death of a child. A gypsy boy has been killed three weeks ago and his body found under a rock. As the investigation continues, another dead boy is found. The boy has bled to death after someone cut his artery with a handsaw. Both deaths are obviously the work of a murderer - a perverted pedophile, sadist who gets sexual satisfaction from the sight of a young boy's blood.

An artist's studio is descended upon by a group of retired men and a young mother who agree to model in the nude for money. Comedy ensues as the students and the local bureaucracy react to the models, all in need of extra money. Several running gags border on slapstick as the officials and the students don't know what to do with the nude models.

Ambientada durante la ocupación Nazi de Checoslovaquia, relata la vida de Milos, un joven funcionario de los ferrocarriles checos que carga con el karma de una genealogía de perdedores y desgraciados que han escapado heroicamente al modelo de vida de un hombre responsable a base de trampas y otras artimañas. El colaboracionista director de los ferrocarriles del pueblo les encarga la misión de proteger ciertos trenes estratégicos, indispensables para los planes de dominación del Führer en Europa central. Milos verá ahí la oportunidad de escapar a la maldición de los varones de su familia que no han sido nunca verdaderos hombres. Pero nuestro protagonista tiene un gran problema: no puede satisfacer los deseos de su novia Masa. De este modo, no se puede concentrar en la misión que le han encargado, ni podrá convencer al mundo de un valor desconocido hasta el momento en su familia.

Unas jóvenes obreras viven en una pensión de Zruc, entre ellas Andula. La escasez de hombres en la pequeña ciudad preocupa a los funcionarios de la fábrica de zapatos, ya que las chicas están decididas a irse de Zruc, precisamente por esta razón. Para evitarlo, utilizan sus influencias para conseguir que se instale en la ciudad una guarnición militar. Sin embargo, para desilusión de las chicas, los soldados son todos veteranos. (FILMAFFINITY)
