Upon the 500-year anniversary of the Spanish Conquest, a ghostly Conquistador arrives in modern Mexico. As he journeys toward the capital city, he remembers events from his past while encountering the testimonies of real people, the survivors of contemporary violence. History and the present begin to merge, giving nightmarish reflection on the enduring legacy of colonialism in our world today.

A strange man appears after an accident in an abandoned highway in the Mexican desert, he’s rescued by a fighting cocks trainer and his grandson, who helps him recover. The man begins to perform healing miracles around the ejido, so he starts being called a Prophet. The priest of the community and the altar boy oppose his stay in the community of this uncomfortable resident.

Documental dividido en tres partes. La primera muestra la adolescencia de Bolaño en México, la segunda se centra en su estadía en España, donde escribió gran parte de su obra, y la tercera se centra en Chile. El film hace especial hincapié en su problemática relación con su país natal, Chile. Fue no obstante en Cataluña donde Bolaño residió desde finales de los años 70, donde conoció la fama tardía y donde falleció, concretamente en Blanes, víctima de una insuficiencia hepática a los 50 años.

En los convulsos tiempos postrevolucionarios de un país complejo y dividido, las ideas de un hombre allanaron el camino hacia la transformación social. Radical, práctico y valiente, Lázaro Cárdenas y un sueño socialista moldearon con sus conceptos políticos el futuro de un México en reconstrucción.

La danza y la prostitución juegan el mismo papel para el cuerpo de Cristhian. Virtuosismo, deseo, técnica y sexo se entrelazan, otorgando coherencia a una forma de vida que ofrece muchas respuestas a pocas preguntas. Un leitmotiv que concilia contrarios y contradicciones. Respuestas que a veces son dolorosas, como todas las verdades.

The celebration of a city is held every year and nostalgia is the main guest. Around the city there is nothing but ruins and in the distance, four men walk the streets of a city that was once great.

Este documental recupera la epopeya del barco Sinaia, mismo que en mayo de 1939 trasladó cerca de 1800 refugiados de la guerra civil española de Francia a México. Esta historia se cuenta a través del viaje que hoy hace un barco mercante por la misma ruta, mientras da voz a los testigos que vivieron aquella travesía.

En 1964 médicos de todo el país salen a las calles a exigir mejoras salariales y un trato digno como profesionales, detienen consultas médicas y sólo atienden emergencias por casi un año. Ante la incapacidad del gobierno para resolver el conflicto, algunos involucrados se ven obligados a politizar la lucha y forman un grupo guerrillero con la intención de derrocar al presidente.

The documentary takes its inspiration from the music made near the Tesechoacán River. A group of elders, who do everything in their power to preserve their culture and tradition, teach young people music.

A beautiful woman is abandoned by her husband during their honeymoon, she stays alone in the hotel where she meets other guests and listen to their stories.
