Shiori Yamauchi finds a letter in her mailbox addressed to a Reiko Miura, who seems to be the previous occupant of her condo unit. She opens the letter out of curiosity. In it were the words, "I want to see you. I love you." A few days later, another letter arrived with the words, "I'll come and see you today after a long time." Scared, Shiori did an internet search for "Reiko Miura" and found out that she was the victim of a stalker murder that happened a year and a half ago.

Yoshisuke grew up in a small town and his father ran a paper lantern shop. The town itself has beautiful scenery, but Yoshisuke is bored. One day, he goes to a prostitution shop and meets Mizusa. At the same time, he receives an image on mobile phone of his mother being kidnapped and a call from a mysterious man. “If you don’ t want us to inject the killer virus in your mother, find the hints hidden in the novel and head for the goal in the death race!” Naoto starts running to save his mother with the book in his hand.

High school student Mio (Mari Iriki) lives in Kagoshima. Since her novelist father was lost, she has refused to go to school and lived on her father's yacht, which is anchored at a dock. Kiyomi (Asami Tanaka) likes yachting, because of her father's influence back in her childhood days. During a practicing yachting, Kiyomi lost her friend and she also quit her special yachting school. Kiyomi then transfers to a regular high school. Finally, these two girls meet.

Every day, a high school girl, Chikako, visits a shrine to wish for true love. One day, she recieves a strange text message from the "Love delivery center" and is persuaded to text her ex-boyfriend. When he responds, a bizarre love triangle forms between him, her, and her best friend Haruka.
