Can the thread of bad luck, violence and suffering which is braided deeply into the generations of one family be broken? Beba's mother is a woman of poor health and weak character. Beba's father is sullen and violent. Beba's brother is possessive and problematic. Beba's boyfriend is from a correctional institution. Has Beba's daughter any chance to break this vicious circle, has she got any chance to become a beloved, happy person?

One accidental shot will intertwine the destinies of two young women - Anita, an inspector who gets on amazingly in professional and quite well in her private life and Petra, a young woman whose everyday life would surely be simpler if she did not have to take care of her alcoholic mother. The investigation on the accidental shot will intertwine their destinies at a moment when they both find that they are pregnant. A huge turning point in their lives, each in her own world and equally left on their own, these two women will, step by step, become close during the investigation.

It is no wonder for a son to have the miraculous powers of his father, but when he discovers love, that's the true miracle.

The main character Struja (Stream) is an unyielding rock musician in a demo-band called When Dirty Harry Met Dirty Sally. Struja would do anything to gather money to record the album as long as it doesn't involve giving up his rock musician beliefs. However, playing pop songs at weddings seems to be the only way out, and the rest of the bend - Struja's best friend and keyboard player Mario (Ivan Duricic), Deni, a handsome singer and bass player (Ivan Glowatzky) and Zlajfa, an indifferent drummer (Hrvoje Keckes) - are trying to persuade Struja to make a compromise. At the beginning he is very firm and reluctant to give in, but when Anja, the girl he left, announces that she is pregnant with his baby, Struja suddenly realizes that there are bigger issues in life than playing at wedding.

A painter comes to the hospital for scanning, believed he has cancer. He carries a gun to shot himself just in case if it proves that he's right. When the results turn out to be negative, he's perplexed because it's actually life that is rigorous, and should he use his weapon anyway.

Iva and Saif are a young married couple who, despite constant attempts, fail to have a child. Zorica and Draka are a drug-addicted couple who always lack money for drugs, but that’s why they have a surplus baby. Bećir and Dudo are petty criminals whose entrepreneurial ventures go through transition.

After a series of unfortunate events, TV subscription collector Pero falls into a deep emotional crisis from which he cannot escape. His only goal is - spiritual peace and, if possible - revenge. People he holds responsible are randomly chosen citizens of the Pusca Bistra village. After he accidently finds out certain facts, Pero finds irrefutable evidence about unhonorable acts of Pusca's citizens and accidently blackmails the entire village.

A homeless man who lives in abandoned bus finds out that his daughter comes from Germany to meet him for the first time in twelve years. Ashamed of his present situation and unable to cope with it, he breaks into apartment of his rich ex-friend who is involved in criminal activities.

The adventures of a young man as he moves from the Latin-American revolutions in the sixties and seventies, through Hungary in the eighties, to the Croatian war in 1991.
