Tso Shiao-Hu

Choong's title is secret agent, but in reality, his duties are limited to ferrying and running errands for Hong Kong agents when they come to Taiwan - hardly the stuff of "Mission Impossible". Until one day, when an assignment to help two Hong Kong police officers find a missing girl turns into a wild goose chase for $30 million of loot involving Hong Kong top assassins and Taiwan's most powerful triads.

Volatile triad boss Duanmu (Collin Chou) is in search of three pendants that are believed to hold parts of the map leading to a hidden treasure. He learns that the pendants are now in the possession of three teenagers, so he dispatches his gang henchmen after the kids. Luckily, super cop Lin Dan (Donnie Yen), armed only with his deadly martial arts skills, is there to save the day!

In December 1937, during the Second Japanese-Sino War, a Chinese doctor, his Japanese pregnant wife, their teenage daughter and their young son travel from Shanghai to Nanjing seeking shelter in the Capital during the Japanese invasion. The family faces the Rape of Nanking by the Imperial Japanese Army, with rapes, mass murder of prisoners of war and civilians including women, children and elders, and disrespect of international conventions.
