Madeline es la más pequeña de doce niñas en un internado, en una antigua casa de París. Cuando el tío Horst hace una visita sorpresa a Madeline, con la promesa de llevarla a un nuevo hogar en Viena, su anhelo de una familia parece cumplirse. Madeline empieza a sospechar cuando su nuevo tío pierde su acento refinado y toma un desvío inexplicable. Sabiendo que está en problemas Madeline deja un rastro. Luego resulta que el tío Horst es en realidad Henri, un lacayo miserable que trabaja para una mujer aún más miserable que dirige una fábrica sucia. En última instancia Madeline ayuda a los huérfanos que allí trabajan notificando al mundo fuera de su difícil situación.

But when the very last one is donated to a nearby children's home, P.J. despairs that he'll not get his Christmas wish.

P.J. escaping a boring family reunion to become famous by contacting alien beings with his friends. However, with the villainous Weasel Brothers looking to cause trouble, P.J. and company have to get creative to battle the wicked bullies.
