Adaptación al largometraje de una serie televisiva creada por John Cunliffe e Ivor Wood para la BBC en 1981. La serie estaba animada en stop motion y la película será en animación por ordenador, y seguirá las aventuras del veterano cartero tras haber sido retado a participar en un concurso de talentos de TV.

From here he contrives to make live films - or Fylms - which are projected on a big screen at the front of the theatre. What you see on the DVD is exactly what the audiences saw on their big screen.
