Pedro y Vilma están atravesando por problemas matrimoniales severos, razón por la cual Pablo y Betty deciden invitarlos a Rocapulco a pasar una vacaciones y así mejorar su relación. Sin embargo, durante la estadía en el lugar, Pedro se topa con un ladrón que robaba una valiosa joya en un bolso idéntico al de Vilma, el cual es naturalmente confundido. Ahora el ladrón tratará de recuperar su mercancía robada sin importar que esto pueda afectar de alguna forma al matrimonio Picapiedra.
