Adapted from the novel by Rebecca Chace, Capture the Flag portrays the tenuous relationship between a father and a daughter in the socially turbulent 1970s. Teen-age Annie and her father Luke are about to gather with friends for an annual game of Capture the Flag. This year, a lot more is at stake than the white T-shirt standing in for the flag. Annie's parents are on the verge of divorce, and this is the first time she and her father are participating without Annie's mother. What starts as a joyous reunion soon breaks down as friendships among the adults fracture and new allegiances among the children are formed. Over the course of this weekend, Annie learns that even though some things change, the most important relationships will somehow endure.

Dos matrimonios deciden pasar juntos las vacaciones de sus sueños yendo a un espectáculo de camiones que se celebra en Reno (Nevada).

Cada año, en Navidad, los lugareños perturban su pacífica soledad con celebraciones cada vez más desmesuradas, luminosas y ruidosas. Cuando los Quién declaran que ese año van a preparar una Navidad el triple de grande, el Grinch se da cuenta de que solo hay un modo de recuperar algo de paz y silencio: robar la Navidad. Para ello, decide hacerse pasar por Santa Claus en Nochebuena, haciéndose con un reno muy peculiar para tirar de su trineo. Mientras tanto, en Villa Quién, una dulce niña llamada Cindy-Lou, desbordante de espíritu navideño, planea con sus amigos atrapar a Papá Noel durante su visita en Nochebuena para darle las gracias por ayudar a su trabajadora madre.
