Aron is a 10-year old lonely boy. He lives with his mother in a room of a junk motel. He helps her run the bar. Hovering around the adults, Aron creates an extraordinary imaginary world in which the main characters are his father, a song, and a music box. One day a new guest arrives at the motel and Aron's world is turned upside down. He has to choose where he belongs.

A psychologist and a painter interpret the works of young autistic people at an exhibition opening. Their conversation seems to target the abstract paintings, however, their real topic is the elusive and constantly changing dynamics of their relationship. While they walk through the gallery, it becomes clear, that they have as many difficulties talking about their feelings, as the artists themselves.

In 1957 the Soviet Union decides to give Hungary the chance to choose the world's first cosmonaut, who can be the very first person in space. It seems like the best candidate is Lajkó, the gypsy spraying pilot.

The films main character is Milan, a young refugee from the Balkan War, who joins a team of paramedics but inadvertently ends up involved in the funeral business in order to finance his fiancee s rescue from the hostilities.

Budapest, 1956. Una joven estrella de waterpolo, Karcsi, se ve involucrado en la revolución anti-soviética que se cuece en las calles de Hungría. En un principio, le motiva la aventura, pero la joven y apasionada Viki capta su atención, consiguiendo que Karcsi se adentre con ella en el corazón de la revuelta. Poco después, tras la retirada de los rusos, la revolución parece haber logrado sus objetivos. Karcsi vuelve a su equipo de waterpolo para jugar en las olimpiadas de Melbourne, sin saber que las fuerzas rusas retornan en su empeño de apoderarse de las calles húngaras... Serán Karcsi y sus compañeros quienes demostrarán al mundo que su pequeña nación no será vencida fácilmente.
