Ayaal is a story on intense human relations. It’s a story of a man who effortlessly floated along the estuaries of time, the back waters of Vembanad. If love is the flowering of one’s own heart, can it have a direction? Is it Scalar (direction less). This is an uncomfortable question raised by him, the protagonist, Guru Dasan. The film problemetises the conventional fabric of human relations, its rules and its sanctity.

Rishyasringan is a 1997 Indian Malayalam film directed by Suresh Unnithan and starring Bhanupriya and Krishna in the lead roles, Arun falls in love with Poornima, his dance teacher who is much elder to him, creating tension among the family members.

Sreenivasan gets a horoscope reading that he will be a big good luck charm . The only problem is the reading also says that he will be lucky to everyone else and wont be able to captilize on it benefit himself.

Suresh Gopi is hired by a rich family torn apart into two , to perform/sing in the cultural activities for the local festival they are sponsoring in the town where he grew up. Though he comes to perform , he has ulterior motives as well , to investigate the death of of his father who was murdered years back. Which leads him to look deeper into things , he sees more darker forces at work , which puts his life in danger.

Siddique, a local school teacher has Jayaram a street musician pretend to be a qualified band master for his school band, which leads them to tell many lies and have problems in keeping the act up.

Thampi retired as an accountant from Indian Railway in mid-1980s following his son's death leads a solitary life in his ancestral house. Thampi's grandson Bhasker aka Pachu had completed his medicine from Bangalore. Thampi is excited when his grandson Pachu, comes along with his friends to spend his vacation with grandpa.During the vacation Pachu and his friends often goes to the nearby beach for a swim. During one such visit Pachu and Lopez gets pulled into the ocean and only Lopez manages to escape. . Eventually the body is found on the third day. The funeral is held on the same day and Pachu's friends gets ready to leave the day after. They all visit the beach one last time to say goodbye to Pachu where they see Thampi arriving with priests to perform the funeral rites of Pachu. While performing the "bali", he takes the ultimate decision and walks away into the sea with the "balichoru" in his hands to the shock of all others.

Three friends, Sakharia, Gopi and Bilal go to a brothel for enjoyment. They find a girl who was forced into prostitution and decide to save her.
