Historia
A graduate in film from FAAP, Marcela is a screenwriter, director and producer. She worked as an assistant director with filmmakers like Walter Salles, Hector Babenco and Carlos Nader. She directed TV series, short films and the documentary Ouvir o Rio: Uma Escultura Sonora de Cildo Meirelles (2012). In 2018, her online short film, Ser o que se É, had 5 million views in one month.

The artist Cildo Meireles in search of the sound of Brazil's main water basins in order to construct the sound sculpture Rio:Oir (River:Hear) created from the play on words and concepts. From Foz do Iguaçu to the Pororoca of Macapá, from the Águas Emendadas Park to the mouth of the São Francisco river, and later, in a studio, gathering the pieces and matching them to the cacophony of residual waters and human laughter.
The documentary "Listening to the River" reveals the artist's simplicity, the relation of region's inhabitants with water, and it enhances our perception between sound and image.

In "The Impassive Muse", Adrine is of Armenian descent and has OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder). Edivaldo is from Pernambuco and suffers from immobilizing absence seizures which make him stand as still as a statue.
Adrine is married to Adilson, a brutalized man who do not bear to be touched by the woman. Edivaldo wants to marry Gladis, unlikely aspirant to the fashion world. Adrine don't want to be noticed. Edivaldo need to 'be somedbody' to win back his bride.
One morning, the lives of Edivaldo and Adrine cross because of ripe orange.
