En la isla, Gvidon mata a un águila que atacaba a un bellos cisne, descubriendo entonces, que el águila encerraba a un malvado mago y el cisne a una bella princesa. Llena de gratitud por su valiente acción, la princesa otorga al chico todos sus deseos, mientras le enseña le verdadero significado del amor y le ayuda a regresar junto a su amado padre, el Zar Saltán.
